Chris has over 35 years of law enforcement experience along with leadership and communication certifications. After serving in the Infantry and then Military Police, Chris was brought on as a Peace Officer Superintendent for a rural municipality directing a large Peace Officer Department. Over the the next 23 years, Chris created many specialized programs including School Resource Officers, Crime Prevention and Oil Industry Funded Peace Officers. He has assisted many municipalities with implementing Peace Officer Programs, as well he has designed and overseen construction of a purpose built Public Safety facility. Chris has lead law enforcement focused Strategic Planning sessions and presented at public meetings. He has written numerous municipal bylaws, policies and procedures. Chris has directed municipal law enforcement responses during various municipal emergencies and disasters including evacuations during wildfires and area closures during floods.  He has created protocols and supervised law enforcement response to public health orders during the COVID-19 Pandemic. Chris has experience in obtaining and working with law enforcement data in GIS mapping and using the visual map data to enhance the deployment of municipal resources.

Bonnie has 16 years of experience in Municipal Operations, including being a Occupational Health and Safety Manager, Incident Command Regional Safety Officer and as a municipal Director of Operations. Bonnie has a Masters Degree in  Sociology and a BA in Health Sciences and has 10 years of law enforcement as well as bylaw enforcement experience. Bonnie has experience in building and implementing Peace Officer Programs, Safety Programs, SOPs, and Codes of Practice. She has conducted incident investigations and reviews, as well as process driven reviews of operations and administrations. Bonnie's expertise includes creating and implementing policy and protocols for the COVID-19 Pandemic and ensuring municipal operations are being carried out with the upmost safety for staff and the public. Bonnie has experience working in ECCs for large municipal disasters including the Jasper National Park and Townsite wildfire.
